Furniture that is not only eco-friendly, but colorful and versatile as well is at the top of our must-have list. Brazilian designer Mauricio Arruda has created a line that allows for a little mixing and matching and looks great while doing so!
Each of the pieces in the "Jose" collection meets the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council when it comes to their wood and the production of each unit. The plastic bins are made from 100% recycled content and all of their pieces are sized to maximize efficiency of materials and energy in production.

Does a recycled plastic Qualify this product to be eco-friendly?...I am somehow not convinced that promoting use of recycled plastic promotes and encourages people who care less about excessive use of plastic in the first place. My husband bought me a tshirt which is said to be made from recycled coke bottles. I dont drink coke or any other bottled beverage for that matter. then why do i have to put up with other incessant plastic users who dont care abotu the bottles they throw away and never do their bit?
I am a conscious plastic user...and calculte my usage with everything i do...and only get the grocery food grain packaged plastic part (wish something is done about that) ...
