As the resident of a tiny apartment, the kitchen of my dreams is one big enough so I can't touch both walls simultaneously. But if I really want to dream big, I imagine a true cook's kitchen. A huge, professional quality range and a luxurious double oven for baking both a main dish and a dessert at once. And since both space and price are non-issues, a pizza oven ensures that I'm never more than 10 minutes away from a pizzeria quality pie.
But I just don't feel at home in a chrome castle, so I've also included plenty of earthy touches — a dip-dye rug, a rugged wooden fruit bowl and casual, open shelving to keep everything at arm's reach. A sleek telescoping pendant is infinitely adjustable, so it perfectly lights any meal prep. I imagine three or four hanging above a tall countertop with wooden stools for extra kitchen seating.
1. A polished nickel pendant from Arteriors is modern but classic.
2. Portland, Oregon based Clive rocks all things coffee.
3. Open shelving is airy and casual and, in my dream kitchen, always effortlessly organized. Via House Beautiful.
4. The countertop pizza oven from Kalamazoo Gourmet doesn't even require installation!
5. A handmade cherry burl wood bowl from Etsy seller Timberturner.
6. A classic tractor seat stool from Bassam Fellows done in sleek wood.
7. A 60'' Viking range is the gold standard for cooks and can be color customized.
8. The indigo and white dip-dye rug from West Elm adds some 70's cool.

6k pizza oven for a small home/apartment? Really? no thanks, i'll stick to my regular oven or deliveries.
Now this is MY kind of "wood work!" Yummy!
@PixelsPerSecond, the first two sentences of the post are "As the resident of a tiny apartment, the kitchen of my dreams is one big enough so I can't touch both walls simultaneously. But if I really want to dream big, I imagine a true cook's kitchen."
So not for a small home/apartment, but rather for a dream kitchen where space and price are nonfactors.
That light looks like Frankenlight! ha! ha! I would perfer it in a craft room rather than a kitchen. Cool concept.
That Viking range is as big as my bathroom! It is amazing to look at and dream but I'd have to give up my sink to have one in my kitchen.
Clive is my favorite! I recommend the displayed item, some Stumptown coffee, and this grinder http://www.redroostertradingcompany.com/products-page/coffee-grinders/camano-coffee-mill/ ohhhhh
The Viking range 60" is about $13,000. Unrealistic for an apartment or small space!
That light fixture is fantastic! Wow!
Nice to have dreams but this doesn't seem a real cooks dream but rather another lightweight AT "space filler". I know people who like to cook and have unlimited resources and none would buy a stove like that for starters not to mention the light fixtures, coffee maker & other stuff. Free AT content, not worth much time. Sorry Maxwell.
This is great, thanks for dream list!
Wow! This is my dream kitchen too! I love everything on this post, especially the stools, anyone knows where to get them and how much they are (although I'm scared of knowing the price)?
Beautiful dream kitchen! I want a pizza oven too :( Ah, someday maybe...
... have the Chemex and Frieling mentiord at Clive - love 'em!
I think several of those telescoping pendants hung together would be a busy mess. They are made to be used alone. That coffee-drip stand and the tractor stool, however, are outstanding.
I'd like one of each of these, please! Especially the pizza oven and Viking range.
I admire Viking's resurrection of Greenwood, MS and their American production, but according to Consumer Reports, they have a high break rate. And this isn't a one-year anomaly -- this has been going on since their start. I follow them on FB and customers constantly post complaints, both about dealers and Viking itself. I'll stick to GE, which I can buy and get serviced locally.
A 60" wide stove with two ovens is my #1 fantasy, but I can't imagine why anyone would opt for open shelving.
Everything is electric here I definately need two ovens and would love 6 burners. Love it on chrome and large hood.
I love it all. Every single item here. Though I might need a degree in engineering to figure out how to use the light. SOLD!
