What's your next improvement? When I first moved into this apartment there was nothing but a dirty, floral carpet, a piano organ, and a giant mural of a sad faced clown being rained on (drawn in pencil between the two windows). As you can see, she's come a long way. For the future of the SS Waverly, we plan to construct a system for a flat panel television that could swing into the kitchen or living room and even be hoisted up into the crows nest. We bought these amazing rigging blocks and pulleys from an old ship-yard in Provincetown and we intend to build a structure using these and a brass pole that goes from the floor to the ceiling. The entire mechanism would allow us to view the television from any part of the room - ideal for movie nights, parties, and film screenings.
