One last flower arrangement from Hilarriet, with red berries to signify the holiday :-)...
Quote of the Day: I'm going to keep going as of course, one is never completely done, but I am so happy with where I am now and how much I (and everyone else in the East) has accomplished during this Cure! - Varnish Eater

Dear Eastern Curees of Fall 2008, this is our final post, where I want to collect up at least one comment from each of you, no matter where your Cure is at right now. This is the post were you comment and link to your final photos so that we can all see what you want us to see last. It is also where I will be listing each of your names as graduates of this Cure. This post will be updated a few times this week to capture all of you by Friday. Give us all your final update!

GENERAL INFO ---------------------------------------------
The Fall Cure is live again in all four of our Home city sites. The Cure posts will go up twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, allowing for plenty of comment space. We will be pulling comments and pics to the front page post on each of these days and everyone is urged to take pics and post them here.
REMEMBER: The goal is to use the group to support, inspire and answer questions as you go. The more you participate, the more you will get out of it. But you may also lurk if you are shy ;-).

Commercial Flour Sa...
oh gosh, I didn't get much done, hardly anything at all really... I did do my entryway though, albeit in the "wrong" week... Anyway, here's a couple of links:

nope, that's not my house. it's the lounge in my building's basement. perfect for throwing the end-of-cure party. everyone had a blast!
I thought it must be the cover for Vampire Weekend's next album.
dining room cured;
office organized, with new shelves and workstation for the kiddo;
bathroom is almost done (have to finish by Sun.)

I'm happy with what I accomplished this fall. I've got some direction for the future, so I know what I'm looking for and working towards. It's great!
I've still got more I want to get done and some of it is cluttering up the hall, so I have to do something about it. I got some stuff done this Cure but definitely not enough. I didn't discover the Cure Flickr chat area until the last couple of weeks. All the comments there partly explained why these Cure threads have been so sparsely populated. I get much more energy when there's a lot of comments.
the cure was really hard but very rewarding. i definitely will be trying it again. thanks for everything! my flickr is above but for good measure, here it is again.
and the nice photos of my apartment are here.
I'm taking the most recent photos and posting them tonight. Will send a link tomorrow.
Well, I'm certainly not finished. Got a tremendous start, can't believe how far I've come, looking forward to continuing to Cure. Not quite ready to graduate...
But I wonder if this thread itself could be Cured a bit? The 'AT Cure Trophy' above, for instance says Spring 2008, maybe that could be updated? As well, none of the PDF worksheets above have ever worked for me, maybe these links could be repaired? These are small things, I know, but would be very much appreciated.
See you all again in Spring 2009, and thanks for everything.
While I haven't gotten everything that I wanted accomplished, I'm still in a much better place than when I started. I'll be taking some pictures of my place this weekend to post, since I have some new drapes and blinds that I'm installing, so I'm holding off on pictures until those are up. Plus there are a couple things I need to finish moving from my bedroom to my office/studio. Looking forward to making things even better in the spring!
The Cure has been liberating to say the least.
I am not done......but so much farther than I thought I would be. The support from all of you has been wonderful. It's so nice to get input from such creative people. I will continue to Cure.........And see you all in the Spring.
Will post Pictures as things are completed!
Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!
Here are some photos of the finished rooms. I am not quite finished, but I, apparently, am going to have plenty of at home time after the holidays... you know, the unemployed kind :(((
Here are the completed ones... I feel accomplished, and will keep on curing!!!

Finished the craft room, which is our bedroom until we complete the bathroom remodel. I'm still working on the dining room and living room. We finally moved the drywall out of there, but since we're leaving for our wedding on Wednesday, we only have like 4 days to get packed and ready to go. But it will be nice to come home to a clean house and a welcoming bed.
A shout out to all of the East Coast Curers for giving me such inspiration, information and laughs. I've very much enjoyed your company!
When I tried to sign up at the beginning I hit a computer snag and wasn't able to get on the "official" page, but I cured anyway. Got so much done that I hadn't been able to find energy/inspiration to do without the Cure. Thanks to AT and everyone who participated and kept me going even if I was only lurking in the background. Come spring I'm going to tackle that painting chore I've been putting off.
like everyone else i still have a lot on my to-do list, but i've made a lot of progress. in this cure i: ripped up carpet, rearranged my living room, painted wood paneling, hung curtains, cleaned out closets, hung artwork etc etc. all of this cost me maybe $100 bucks!
cant wait until i have a bit more cash to make some furniture purchases- i'll be cure-ing for a few more weeks to get ready for holiday guests. one of these days my place will be a stunner!

I ended up doing repair work and purging, for the most part. I also added color and lighting. Even though I still have more to do, it made a big difference. Here is the URL for my set.

I'll be back in the spring for painting and finishing up what remains from this cure. Thanks to everyone for your support and see you in the Spring!

I still have to take bedroom and entry way pics, but I am so happy with my cure this time around, I actually did something in every room. And I love my place so much now that I turned down another apt that I would have jumped at pre-cure.
Many thanks to my fellow cure-ers, your support was invaluable. I'm so proud of all of us!
Although I got slack on the posting, I'm actually done with my Fall cure. My house looks pretty amazing now, and I can't wait to post the pictures on flickr later this week. Thanks so much to everyone for their advice and support. Can't wait for the spring!
I think I've found this Fall Cure most useful in looking at my apartment through fresh eyes. I moved in a year ago and planned the place after having read the book, so it's just little things I want to do now. Like reinstalling the hook that fell down in my bedroom. Buying rope caulk to insulate my windows so my feet aren't cold all the time. Replacing my coffee table with one I can actually put coffee mugs on. Finally getting real nightstands next to my bed. And major, major purging of clothes and books that I will never use again.
Here is my photostream.
