The folks over at Paper N Stitch, Katie's Pencil Box, and Snow & Graham must have had a mind meld, because they each independently came up with the same DIY craft idea for wall decor that is easy and cheap to make, AND can be reused year after year. Want to see what they did to fill these blank walls?
Wall typography made out of simple materials you probably have on hand. Boom. That's it. Look how nice and stylish it looks, without a lot of effort. They are custom, so the bigger the blank space, the bigger the words can be. I just keep thinking about string lights that get tied in knots, tinsel tumbleweeds roaming around the house, and yards of garland that take eons to make. When there could just be this.
Brittni at Paper 'N' Stitch (above) created her cursive "Merry & Bright" message by making use of a friend's handwriting, foam board and some duct tape.
Katie of Katie's Pencil Box came up with a similar project — but with *glitter* — that is super shiny and festive.
And lastly, Snow & Graham paired some super graphic holly with a quick paper reminder to "Be Merry" this holiday season.
Head on over to each of their blogs for more photos and info on how to make each of these simple crafts.
