For a cheaper galvanized tub option, try Lowes / Home Depot. Large tubs, ovals, and even smaller ones for wine. Seriously don't know why you'd go to Crate & Barrel for that.
I'm with thesweetchuck on this one. We bought a number of plastic tubs (like tub trugs, only cheaper) and they serve a million interchangeable purposes--including drink tubs when we have parties. Yes, they aren't quite as pretty, but they're colorful, festive, and can easily find other uses rather than taking up room on your shelves between parties.
@THESWEETCHUCK and @LSTEFFEN - those are great ideas! Definitely check out our post on more ways to use drink tubs when it's not party time:

Galvanized tubs are definitely "classier" than the Coleman cooler, but I can take the cooler on a road trip without risking ice flying everywhere. I am all for things having multiple purposes.
Warning! Try your metal tub BEFORE the party. We purchased a metal tub for drinks at Target. (Not the tub pictured here, but similar) On the evening of the party we set it up with ice, beer, and wine. Slowly, the tablecloth under it got wetter & wetter. We thought it was condensation at first but no, it was a leak! As guests were arriving, we were in the backyard dumping ice into a kitchen trash bag and placing that down into the tub so we could still use it. We plan on caulking it with some silicone and hope it holds water.
I love these drink tubs! And thank you thesweetchuck for the inexpensive alternative!
