Thirties lounge chair. This is a graceful yet sturdy lounge chair in the style of Wolfgang Hoffmann. The seller says that the cushions are new. Before bidding, ask whether he's referring to the foam or to the upholstery, or both. George Nelson nightstands. While most mid-century nighstands are squat, these are tall and stately. The blonde wood would warm up a minimalist bedroom. Wall mounted kitchen dispenser. So you're thinking, I can't buy this piece, I don't have a full-on Fifties kitchen, with aqua tile and a poodle clock! Not to worry. This vintage dispenser, which comes complete with cutting edges, would lend vintage charm to any kitchen. Denyse Schmidt quilt. Schmidt designed this king-sized coverlet for Crate and Barrel. It originally sold for $300, but bidding opens at $128.99. Check out the coordinating Fifties print on the reverse side. Frank Gehry Hat Trick chairs. I'm not a fan of the aubergine color, but the uber-architect's modern take on bentwood is a keeper. The Belgian seller has 40 of these, and shipping from Europe can be surprisingly reasonable. Book of Hellen van Meene portraits. For years, Dutch-born van Meene has been photographing adolescents. This picture reminds me of Millais' portrait of Ophelia. If you want a signed van Meene, buy one from the foundation aperture.org for $650. If you don't have that kind of cash, buy this book, cut out the portraits that speak to you, and frame them. -Molly S.
