Is there anyone producing a table inspired by the Castro Convertible Coffee/Cocktail/Dining Table but with a center pedestal? I really need something that could seat 8, comfortably, preferably rectangular rather than circular.
Rucy - I ended up buying the last Castro convertible table posted here on Ebay Scavenger, and it is big enough to seat eight, once it is all unfolded, at least for games and such. It might be a little crowded for dinner, though.

Best way to save money on ebay, sell on craigslist.org, little more hassle but no fees...
I've got one of those Castro Covertibles with a nautical theme on it. Has 2 anchors on each end of the top surface and a nautical ships wheel in the center. Great shape if anyone's interested.
