We love searching for unique wall art for kids' rooms — pieces that are unexpected and yet fit perfectly in a child's space. Recently, we found some unique prints that we think would do very nicely in a nursery or kid's bedroom.
Jing Wei, a Chinese-born illustrator and printmaker, makes woodcut prints that are understated and simple, but their small details make them visually interesting. In spite of its title (Lost #1), the piece featured here would add a quiet charm to a child's room.
Flowers in May is an Etsy shop run by illustrator and designer Emilly Dumas. Her prints are modern and clean with a sweet sense of humor. The robots featured here are bright and strongly graphic and could be grouped together or scattered throughout a room.
MisseMai prints come from a design studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The highly detailed, monochromatic prints are inspired by fairytales, but their execution shows a little edge. Several of the pieces can be personalized with children's names.

These are great! I got a couple prints from this Etsy seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop/triginkart?section_id=7859604 She did a sock monkey one and a rubber ducky one for my daughter's nursery (both 8x10). They are awesome! I also got this one (per my husband's request): http://www.etsy.com/listing/65562873/unicorn-riding-bike-5x7-print Funky art in a baby/kid's room is just too fun to pass up.
