An Antique Dealer's Eclectic and Thrifted Oklahoma Home

Name: Brittini
Location: Elk City, Oklahoma

Brittini's house is so full of cool antiques and thrifted finds, you have to pay very close attention to figure out that her home is "newer" because it's so filled with trendy personality.

From Brittini: Our home is occupied by me, my husband, our wild 18-month-old daughter, and our four 4-legged compadres. We live in a small town in Western Oklahoma, in our 1,300 square foot brick home. Our home is newer, per my husbands wishes for energy efficiency and lower maintenance, so I try to balance my love for an older home's charm and character.

I'm an antique dealer and have been collecting, trading, "hoarding" for years, I'm always on the hunt and keep the cool pieces for myself, at least for a little bit. We have tried to fill our home with either vintage, thrifted, handmade or locally purchased goods. We love buying art from Oklahoma artists, and finding unique oddities at auctions and flea markets. My husband built the shelves to house my vinyl collection and the wall shelf, I know pipe shelves are probably old news, but I like how they can bring our newer home some industrial vibes.

Some of my favorite finds are the old Pontiac neon light ($10 at a garage sale + it works), farm table ($20 flea market), newspaper stand ($20 garage sale, we use it store our board games). We love having friends and family over, the open floor plan makes it great for entertaining guest and keeping an eye on my crazy baby, who by the way, loves to help rearrange the shelves. Thank y'all for lookin!

Thanks, Brittini!
