With Thanksgiving later this week, you’ve no doubt already cemented your design and logistical plans if you’re hosting a dinner. But perhaps you’ve been having some insecurity over your design choices. We’ve rounded up 10 gorgeous and eclectic dining spaces to banish any doubt that a varied space full of personality is the perfect complement to a home full of good food and friends.
Eclectic dining rooms work when they are filled with things you love, and elements are balanced. Eclectic dining spaces pack a mean punch of personality because they mix and match contrasting styles, play with bold colors and introduce details that might not normally be seen together.
They are especially useful when a packed house for the holidays means you might not have quite enough chairs or plates or napkins for everyone to use ones that match; in an already mixed and matched space—no one will notice!
Just don't confuse eclectic with "cluttered" or "messy;" there are plenty of ways of creating an eclectic dining space using a carefully curated combination of items from different styles. It's your dining room, and you're in control of how much art and accessories go into your eclectic space. Don't feel like you have to add more than you need!
What do you think about eclectic dining spaces? Cozy and comforting for the holidays? Or just a little too bohemian for your tastes? Let us know!

I love the dining set in picture seven.
I love the idea of creating your own organic ensemble with what you have. Very bricolage! The're all gorgeous but I especially love #1 and #2.
Naked breasts everywhere but the dining room, please. Just me.
Number 1 is my favourite (so pretty) but I love the waving bride picture in number 7.
Whoops, I meant #9.
love, love, love! the fourth dining room. it is so refreshing, but warm at the same time. the colour scheme is fabulous and it seems with a nice paint job and some extra textiles -- anyone could do this. i'm totaly okay with the bewbs painting, but those candle stick holders are absolutely wacky and distracting in the 1st dining room.
**totally.
I love these. Especially the last one with the purple ghost chairs xxx

I wish I had the courage to have different styles and colors of dining chairs. I think they look fantastic in photographs, but I just can't see it in my own home.
does anyone know where the yellow/green flower chairs are from??? LOVE!
