It's a new year and what better a time to start being more green?! I am so excited to share this Instagram story with you because it's the first time we are featuring THREE different products with one unifying theme. This week we are rounding up new and different ways to pack and store your food! Watch the video above and read on below to see why you can stop adding plastic bags and cling wrap to your grocery store list today.

While I know we should all be more eco-friendly in our day-to-day lives, sometimes it's just so convenient to turn to disposable solutions. The great things about every single one of these products is that they make it easy to reduce, reuse and recycle in a completely sustainable, long-term way.

Let's start with Stasher, the revolutionary alternative to the plastic sandwich bag. Made of pure platinum food-grade silicone, Stasher bags are super durable and are made to be used again and again (more than 3,000 times, to be exact). And you don't have to limit your Stasher to just packing your peanut butter & jelly sandwiches — these bags can go from the freezer to the microwave to the dishwasher, no problem. They are completely airtight and self-sealing, and the best part? You can write erasable notes directly onto them.

The second item I was so happy to discover are the Bento Bags from our friends over at Ambatalia. All of Molly de Vries' products for this brand are beautifully crafted from natural, sustainable, and locally-made textiles. These bags are simple, versatile, and stylish. Perfect for packing a lunch, shopping at the market, giving baked goods to a friend, or even using as a bread basket on the dining room table. Available in a variety of colors and patterns, you can be eco-friendly and look good while you're doing it! The Bento Bags are just one part of a collection of awesome products, so be sure to check out all that Molly and her team have to offer.

Last but not least we've got the reusable beeswax wrap from Abeego which I have been using at home nonstop (and it really works)! Founder Toni Desrosiers knows that real food needs to breathe and created this wrap to allow it to do just that. It is meant to act as the lemon peel, the onion skin, the cheese rind... basically as natural a wrap as you could ask for. Abeego is perfect for preserving greens, cheese, rising bread and even covering fermenting foods. It is self-sealing and can simply be washed to use again and again — and again!

Have you tried any of these eco-friendly options? Let us know in the comments!
