UK-based developer Blue Forest has introduced a new concept home based on their luxury treehouses. The retreat is called eco-PERCH and though it measures less than 520 square feet inside, it's big on style.

Essentially a prefab, eco-PERCH can be delivered and installed onsite in about five days. It boasts an impressive array of environmentally friendly features, such as photovoltaics, low-voltage LED lighting, double-glazed windows, composting toilets, and FSC-certified tongue and groove timber cladding.

The retreat sleeps four and comes complete with a kitchen and bathroom. Its small footprint allows it to be assembled on the ground or even in the trees, should you want your own grown-up treehouse.

eco-PERCH is currently made for the UK market, but Blue Forest will also ship the tiny home to the US. It's expected to sell for $79,000 to $90,000 (not including overseas delivery).
