With the rapidly plunging temperatures, it's certain that most of us have already abandoned using our patios, unless you're in a warmer state. Let's face it, patios are great for BBQs and hosting parties. It just bums us out when we can't use them anymore.
UK-based Chillchaser has created some innovated and ecologically friendly patio heaters that look pretty good. All three models use carbon fiber heating and offer the great instant heat that comes with these devices. Naturally, they have replaceable heating elements that are designed to last for 5,000 hours. They are actually far infrared electric heaters and deliver focused heat, which means that they heat you instead of just heating the air. They emit no CO2 nor any exhaust gases, making them more beneficial than their gas-based competitors.
These types of heaters have been used all over the world for a while, enabling to heat your body and increasing its metabolic functions without any side effects. They've got a 13-foot heating radius and come with an automatic on/off switch. They come with a remote control that magnetically locks to the body of the heater. The Poseidon has a built-in media player and costs about $1,400. We think that it's interesting, but the model to get is surely the Zeus. At about $750, it comes with a great light to make your outdoor nights memorable. The Neptune is even cheaper, at around $500. All three are available from the Chillchaser store.

Sorry,
but "patio heater" (especially for that time of the year) and "ECO FRIENDLY" really don't fit together ... (wear warm clothes and drink eggnog or mulled wine instead)
Agree 100% with lynley. Just because the company claims them to be eco friendly, it does not make them so. How about wearing a jacket or just go inside?!
