A friend recently inquired about finding sources for reclaimed and sustainable woods. They weren't looking for lumber for their flooring in this case, but for an art project. But it did get us started on a search for reclaimed woods and building material resources, and that's how we found out about Eco-Friendly Flooring...

Eco-Friendly Flooring is not only notable for their selection of recycled, reclaimed and sustainable building materials, including recycled aluminum tile backsplashes, bamboo stair treads, recycled glass tile backsplashes, mache cork flooring and vibrated/sandblasted recycled aluminum backsplashes, but also because they're a woman owned and operated company.

Eco-Friendly Floorings stock of reclaimed wood flooring is milled from structural beams and timbers that were used in warehouses and factories from the early 1900s, with some of the flooring been salvaged from tongue/groove planks that lived their previous life also as flooring. Pricing ranges from $4.50-$13.00/sq. ft. And be sure to check their specials section for overstock items at a discount rate.
