Our hunt for better lighting continues, this week with some great eco-friendly options from a variety of retailers. These recycled glass, metal and plastic lights satisfy our desire to add some much needed illumination with as little impact as possible on the environment.

White Enamel Four-P...
Both of these projects could use a little refinement but here are two recycled DIY lights that I've made in the last little while...
DIY Trouble Light
Mason Jar Lamp
I don't understand why buying recycled and 'going green' has to cost me so much green.
agree with peahen, true eco-friendly is to use what's already there. it's easy enough to rewire old lamps and a new shade on an old frame is a great DIY project.
on the other hand... if you're hyper busy with no time to shop, and have the bucks then buying one of these is better eco-wise than just getting a new lamp at Restoration.
