Dog beds are important pieces of furniture to our four legged friends and, truth be told, most of them aren't exactly hip or stylish and heaven help you if you want one that falls in that category that's eco-friendly as well. There might be a few contenders, but none really have this much color or style.
• Over the years I've made note of my support for Molly Mutt pet beds. My two dogs love them and they've made a few appearances in house tours. It's hard to beat something handmade with love! Prices range from $20 - 45 for most of the doggie duvets.
• Although putting a bird on something is the new mock-worthy trend, monkeys have long since been the go-to animal for many. They're still holding strong and that's a good thing for the folks over at Paul Frank. Their new line of dog beds (available at Funny Fur)include 3 different options all retailing at $110 or $130 depending on the size of bed you are looking at. Each bed is filled with recycled plastic bottle filler and has a non-skid bottom to keep your pooch from sliding around while nesting to find just the right spot.
• Adrienne recently blogged about See Scout Sleep. Made from a hemp fabric and screen printed with eco-friendly water-based inks, they are made in New Orleans and give ten percent of their profits back to the community through the Gulf Coast Fund. Prices range from $130 - 240, depending on size. Good looking and nature loving!
