Ecohaus is a Portland favorite for environment friendly building materials. As a national leader in green building supplies, Ecohaus offers the best products for those who want a beautiful home as well as a healthy one.

Ecohaus is continuously careful of selecting their products and often use local resources. Consequently, if a trusted supplier suddenly changes a formula to include harmful solvents or if it is unsure how a certain wood is harvested, they will no longer carry the product.

You will find everything from paints to cork flooring. Nubby carpets, graphic wallpaper, bold marmoleum and bright tiles are among our favorites. The knowledgeable experts welcome you to interact with products while visiting the showroom. Moving around wood flooring samples to match up to paints and tiles is all part of the process.

All materials can be purchased over the phone or at one of their showrooms in Portland, Seattle and soon to come, San Francisco.

We purchased our carpet runner for our stairs from the Portland Ecohaus and am very happy with it. I looked everywhere for a wool runner and Ecohaus had the best selection, and it was at a fair price.

I recently visited ecohaus and the staff there has been very knowledgeable and friendly. It was an approachable atmosphere to wander around and look at all of their beautiful products!

I love the Seattle ecohaus... have been there a dozen times in the last week getting no-voc paints and other goodies for a new home. They are super friendly and helpful. I love going into a store and knowing that I can pick anything there and it will be an environmentally smart choice.

We also did the American Clay workshop, which was awesome hands-on with great demos and Q&A time. Can't wait to pick a color of clay for my living room!
