The Power of Nature. Using only carefully selected raw materials from vegetable and mineral sources, Ecover's household and personal care cleaning products are helping to ensure that your home, your loved ones, and the environment stay clean and green...
What makes Ecover different from other cleaners? The quality and effectiveness of its products and the company's commitment to sound ecological practices. Ecover is fully invested in the complete life cycle of their products — from sourcing only raw plant-based materials for its cleansers to rigorously testing their quality and effectiveness; from researching the best types of biodegradable plastics for the packaging to the development and manufacturing of all the products in their own sustainably-built factories. All of this ensures that the entire product is efficient, eco-friendly and fully degradable, with nothing left at the end except minerals.
Ecover carries a complete line of household products for dish washing (including dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and automatic dishwashing powder), laundry products (like powdered laundry soap and fabric softener ) and household cleaners for your bathroom and floors. Our personal favorite might be their lavender hand soap which is a gentle and soothing cleanser.
Looking for a dubious ingredient list and a company trying to pull the [possibly very toxic to your health and the environment] wool over your eyes? You won't find it at Ecover. Ecover lists the complete ingredients and packaging materials list for all their products on their website, so you can know exactly what you're buying, how it was made, and why it's good for the environment.
All of Ecover's products are manufactured in their own sustainably built factories. Not only do they want their products to be low-impact, but they believe their factories should be low-impact as well. The factories are built with sustainable materials, such as bricks from recycled coal waste, a sedum roof for insulation and thus minimum use of heat or air conditioners, their own water filtration systems, and skylights aligned with the path of the sun to cut down on electricity use.
If you've had one too many chemical-induced headaches from harsh cleaners, maybe you should try Ecover. We think they've got the right stuff to help you create a clean, safe and healthy home.

my favorite brand!!
ooo I never tried them, I'll have to check where they are available. thx
darn, I'd have to order it
Whole Foods where I live has em. I use their laundry soap and dishwasher "tablet" things, seems to work very well!
Oh hey, I use their delicate fabric wash (instead of the usual woolite). Woolite always left a strange residue for some reason, no matter how much I rinsed, but Ecover doesn't do that.
I didn't realize they make car cleaning products, though. I might have to try that. My car desperately needs to be clean, both inside and out.
i've always been lost on how to pronounce their name...
I love the scrub. I first purchased it to try to clean the ick off of my chantal kettle that Bon Ami couldn't remove. It worked perfectly and I am hooked
My favorite brand as well! I've been using all sorts of their products for a few years now and have always been happy. Great quality, and their prices (at least here in France) are actually less expensive than regular supermarket equivalents.
Rachelmoon, the company was founded in Belgium and I'm pretty sure (as I live in France) that the name is based on French (which is spoken in Belgium), and is pronounced "ay-ko-vair", i.e. like the two English words "a cover". "Eco" for "ecological" and "ver" as in the French "vert", which means "green".
Fraise: Interesting interpretation. I've always thought of it like "recover" without the R, as in it is helping your house recover from dirt and the planet recover from toxic chemicals. But I guess the way the logo is split into blue and green probably makes my way make less sense.
