Hehehe... put a bird on it! Seriously, though, that peacock is lovely.
I can't believe I like these!
I quite like the measuring cups, but don't really see the Rachel Bilson connection. Not sure what sort of demographic she courts (or even what she's done after The O.C.) but a brief Google Image Search says she'd be better off with a line of dresses/leggings at Target – I don't even mean that to be nasty, I love Target! I just don't think most people say 'Huh, that girl from the OC is wearing a cute bag in that paparazzi pic. I wonder if she has a line of peacock-shaped tea kettles.'
I'm a hater by nature and MAN, I really love these! Go head, Rachel Bilson!
Not my usual fare at ALL. Too precious for my taste. But dang, those measuring cups are ADORABLE. And those plates..they border on "too much", but to me they juuust barely manage to keep from going over. Very cute stuff.
The measuring cups look nice but I would be afraid to use them for fear of breaking them.
always wanted some disney bird salt shakers...when is the bambi floor lamp coming out?
If you see something that fits your decor and you like it, does it matter who's name is on it? Blue is my color and I use it a lot throughout my home. I love the rose design place setting. I also went to Macy's site and saw the sculpted rose plates. All beautiful and perfect for casual yet elegant dining.
I worry I'll have my Apartment Therapy account removed for admitting this, but I adore Franz ceramics, especially the dragonfly teacup/saucer. These remind me pleasantly of them... although if you want to go in that vein, I would just go straight to the Franz, they are (to my eyes) exquisite. The Bilson ones are just a little too too for me.
Cuuuute!
This isn't design. This is knick-knacky tableware. If you're going to buy that sort of thing, you might as well go vintage.
I love the peacock. she has a set of plates called "peacock feather" or something that are beautiful. Subtle color, interesting design.
@boliyou Yes---the peacock feather. That is the robin's egg blue dinnerware set she did. So beautiful! I actually picked up it for a good price, buy 1 get 1 placesetting at Macy's right now with additional 15% off. As soon as I saw it in the store, I fell in love with it. She also has these scuplted white and blue serving bowls and canape plates that are amazing. Must see it in person -- I never go crazy over dinnerware but I did over this. Here's the macy's link to it:
