From those crazy Germans who last brought us the Rubik's Cube subwoofer, the De Stijl artwork of Piet Mondrian is the latest source of inspiration for Electroacustic's newest line of speakers and subs...

ELAC's De Stijl Edition Speakers and Subwoofer are emblazoned with the recognizable art motifs of De Stijl artist, Piet Mondrian. Not exactly decor friendly except for a gallery-like interior from our perspective, but certainly interesting. The matching MicroSUB 2010 is the very same as the Rubik's cube edition, offering streaming via Bluetooth from any enabled device (an RC jack is also available). The subwoofer has four amplifiers and provides a 2.1 sound-system optimized for music reproduction, while the FS 247 floor speakers have been reviewed as precise with excellent manufacturing finish. A 10 year warranty sure doesn't hurt either, alongside the option for a less art-inspired finish. Available from Elac.com.
