I confess, I have a serious crush on elephants. It all started with a vintage pink cast iron elephant bank that I found over 10 years ago. As my collection grew, I began dispersing them throughout my home and workspace. You can find them mixed in with the dishes…
…hanging out on the coffee table, playing in the nursery and resting on my desk. I'm not sure how many is too much or if there is such a thing, but at this point I can't help but take them home when they cross my path. They bring me serious joy — but that's the point of a collection, right?
Just in case you too may be elephantine in your collection habits, make sure the trunk is "up" to bring you lots of luck! Happy collecting!

have you seen the notebooks you can get made of elephant dung? *I'm serious!*
I love the elephant towels in the picture. Does anyone know where they came from?
WHERE did you find the little crocheted elephant on the swing? He made me laugh.
@83eggs I don't know where they got that one, but you could probably find a similar one on Etsy.
I'm in the elephant crush group, too. I have this adorable ring holder by my sink http://gifts.redenvelope.com/jewelry/baby-elephant-ring-holder-21320044?viewpos=1&trackingpgroup=productsearch
It's one of those things where I would buy all the adorable ones I see, but I don't want to turn into that girl w/ the elephants nor do I want others to know about my "crush" and then start buying me them for every birthday & holiday! (You know how that goes!)
I have to own up to my collection, as well; there's not a room in my apartment sans pachyderm.
I have almost exactly the same thing- except my collection isn't elephants, it's dachshunds. Any shape, size, colour- I have them made out of cloth, china and even a dachshund hand bag.
All I need now is the real thing!
hi all!
The elephant on the swing is actually part of a mobile in my son's room...

The sweet elephant towel was a gift that a friend made for me...I think the fabric was ordered on etsy:)
AH I love elephants. My mom collects them and has more than 150 from all over the world!
Another elephant crusher here--elephant bookends, elephant oil burner, elephant evil eye, teapot, lamp, stuffed and in soapstone. They haven't infiltrated the kitchen yet, but give them time. And I received a small herd of elephants from family and friends for my birthday this year!
