We look at a lot of homes and offices each day, and of course we love the majority of them, but then you just lock eyes on the one you knew you were always meant to see. That's how we felt when we came across a house tour over on Apartment Therapy New York. They visited a renovated rowhome in Brooklyn and now nothing will ever be the same for us.
The home office and workspace may not immediately jump out and grab your attention, but when you take everything into consideration &mdash it's really quite interesting. The couple scooped up their rowhome when it was on the verge of being condemned and honed their DIY skills to fix it up.
The home is a unique mix of modern, salvaged and rustic &mdash a winning combination. The home office and workspace is located on the top floor of the rowhome and we love the rustic unfinished walls, original flooring and the beams on the ceiling. We're pretty sure that we'd be filled with creative inspiration if this is where we worked each day.
We're also really enjoying the color of the work table, it pairs perfectly with the colors in the room. It's bright enough to pack a punch without distracting from the other elements in the room. We also really love the pops of white that are found in the chair, bookshelf and computer. It helps tone down the dark and earthy tones that fill the room.
Some may consider this space unfinished, but we like it just the way it is.
