- Inspiration for my palette:
- I had a tentant in my apartment while I lived abroad for a few years. I came back to an all beige apartment. It was pretty awful. I need color in my life. My colors were inspired by objects and memories.
- Colors used in my room
- Avocado, Brick, Silver Mist
- Tips for using color successfully
- Don't be afraid of color. So many people stick to a neutral palette. Be bold. If you don't know what you are doing, look at suggestions from paint companies. They have great combos all set to go.

- Deep 60s

Beautiful!
I have to admit, I rather love that wall of paneling, especially with those particular sofas and lamps.
Love this! (why did you let your tenant paint the place beige??)
Absolutely not my style but I love it! Very well done. Love the wooden paneling. The avocado is perfect with the wood. Good job!
Lovely! I'd love to see another picture of the wall of figurines. I'm intrigued! Are they all the same? Do they differ?
This why sooo many ran screaming from the 60's. YUCK
Great color choices!! I was born in the early 60's and like you, these colors and your furnishing's take me back to my childhood. You did a wonderful job!
Like! Where are the sofas from?
Sofa is the Petrie sofa from Crate & Barrel
Eli, love your space. Your clever use of wall color & vertical space as well as the upholstered furniture is stunning.
Anyone else reminded of Don Draper's office ?
The sconces are the same as the ones in the office halls in Mad Men and made by the same company.
