Name: Eliza (4 months); former nursery of Finley (2.5)
Location: West Lawn, PA
Color Inspiration: I always thought, "If I have a baby girl, I won't surround her in pink". I felt a pink nursery was cliché and too prescribed for a little girl. But as soon as I had my first baby girl in my arms, my heart got a bit pink and sugary. So for Finley's and now Eliza's nursery I wanted to work with pink in a way that was both sleek and sugary and in a way that was both classic and modern. To try to get that sleek, sugary, classic yet modern room; I paired sugary pink with the boldness of black and white.
Tip for Using Color: Stay open to lots of possibilities as you browse colors and décor. Just about any color can go in any direction depending on what other colors it is paired with. Even an "ugly" color can look gorgeous in the right color combination and traditional colors can look non-traditional in a well-chosen pallet.
Colors Used: Pink, Black and White.
