Ellie's 'It's a Small World After All' Room

My Room

Name: Ellie (18 months)
Location: Livermore, California

This room was inspired by a trip to Disneyland when I was pregnant. I loved the idea of a world-inspired room, especially since we have family from around the world.

Most of the details in the room we put together ourselves. My mom painted the adorable panel of children from around the world. I made the curtains, the quilt, and the little blocks with children and structures from around the world

I made my own fabric wall decals too. Big sister made a hot air balloon for the room to welcome little sister when she was born. Since this room also had to double as a guest room, we left our double bed next to the crib. I ended up loving having a bed in the room though. It was great for nursing, reading books, and cuddling!
