Elodie's Not-Pink Nursery

My Room

Name: Elodie
Location: Los Angeles, CA

When I found out we were having a girl I knew I wasn't going to have a pink nursery. Elodie's nursery style is probably an extension of myself - I picked things that I would have liked as a kid!

One of the first things I bought for Elodie before she was born was a pair of baby-sized moccasins (a miniature version of a pair I own), and it became the inspiration for her room.

We kept the walls and furniture neutral and incorporated color through her toys and decor. I include some tribal-inspired accents such as the dreamcatcher my sister made and the colorful arrows mounted on the wall. We wanted to personalize something for her, so I designed decals for the walls and my husband painted the accent wall a very subtle shade of sea foam.

Her room isn't heavily themed, mostly just filled with things that I hope she'll grow to enjoy!
