Stitching a greeting (or anything, really) into a gauzy white curtain leaves a ghost of a sentiment floating on air. We love the lightness and simple fun of this project and we're thinking up terms we would stitch in our own curtains: "good morning" on the window facing the bed, or "welcome" on a sheer door treatment, or even just a design like puffy clouds or asterisk snowflakes. We would try it white on white.
