Emerson's Soft, Sweet Space

My Room

Name: Emerson (6 Months)
Location: Tulsa, OK

I am a photographer and blogger in Tulsa, OK, and my client, Lindsey Greer, hired me to take photos of her newborn baby girl, Emerson. I was able to get some great photos of Emerson's nursery, and when I asked Lindsey if she would be willing to share them on Apartment Therapy, she was thrilled!

The nursery is beautiful - I couldn't pass on the opportunity to share. Lindsey shared some details with me on decorating Emerson's room.

Lindsey wanted a neutral palette for the nursery so that it could be a space that Emerson could grow into. Lindsey purchased the bubble gum art on Etsy from Coco de Paris. The prints are made from a piece of vintage French literature with animals blowing bubble gum printed on top. The antique rocking horse and chair were purchased at an estate sale, and are thought to be around 70 years old!

The bedding for the crib was custom made by Peek-a-boo Baby here in Tulsa. Lindsey also had some reversible pillows made from some pink and gray chevron fabric she purchased on Etsy.

Lindsey purchased the Stokke crib and changing table - she was very excited about investing in this beautiful crib that converts into a toddler bed. The dresser and bookshelf were purchased from Restoration Hardware. She chose white to give some contrast to the warm tones of the Stokke crib and changing table.

The walls are painted a soft gray so that Lindsey could use accessories to add pops of color and personality. The gray and white chevron rug was purchased from Pottery Barn Kids.
