We're still waiting for wallpaper in nurseries and kids rooms to really take off as a trend and each new beautiful collection that comes out makes us hopeful that it will add to the momentum. Hygge & West has a fresh-off-the-press collaboration with Emily Marie Cox which has a lovely storybook charm to it.
There are three designs: Circus Troupe (2 colorways), Busy Town (2 colorways) and Rabbit-tat-tat (3 colorways). All three feel like they could be artwork pulled from beloved children's books with a nice mix of vintage and modern aesthetics.
See the new collection at Hygge & West. (For smaller projects or framing, it will also be available by the yard!)

These are wonderful, but I can't imagine ever wallpapering a nursery with a childish print because... well, they won't be a child forever.
I agree with DressageRider, but they sure are fun to look at. Can I get some fabric in those prints instead???
Beautiful, but pricey. Maybe a yard for a dollhouse remodel? I love the idea of wallpaper in a nursery but agree it's so short lived for the expense of paper, and removal (a very difficult job!).
As a designer of nurseries I would use the papers on an accent wall. Perhaps the crib wall where you might not want to hang something framed anyway over the crib. Or on the bed wall to serve as a 'head board". Don't be afraid of prints like these, once you hang some framed art in relatable colors and opposite in scale, it tones it down. But less is more in most cases.
I love wallpaper. I have a feeling that it hasn't taken off in nurseries because it's expensive to buy and expensive to apply. I LOVE it though, too.

Just say no to wallpaper....
i am crazy for this....
I am a big fan of wallpaper, but for a kid's room I would rather use it on small furniture, like a bookcase - something that can easily be redone or replaced.
I actually just talked about this yesterday here:
