We conduct so much energy in all of the things we do each day; why aren't we embracing that? There's so much we could do and so much money we could save if we just harnessed our ability to produce energy. Here is probably the last place anyone would think to start...

The Pillet; designed by Miguel Melgarejo is a 2 in 1 bathroom accessory. Not only does it serve a very functional use of holding toilet paper, but it also generates energy that can then be used to illuminate your bathroom. You can also remove the holder/lamp from the bathroom and use it as a lamp in any other situation you might find yourself needing a lamp for.
The Pillet generates energy from each turn of the holder. So each time you reach for more toilet paper, The Pillet charges up. It's so simple and yet took so long for someone to think of it. Maybe The Pillet will be the new bathroom night light?

I dunno. I don't think TP has the strength to stay together under the forces required to generate any usable electricity.
First law of thermodynamics - "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only change forms."
I think you meant electricity. Nitpicking, I know but still...
Yay! We can buy a $500 TP holder to payback the 0.5W our idle phone charger uses. Should take about 300 years to break even...
