With almost every single post currently relating to your summer, I can't help but wish AT and Kitchn didn't have such a focus on whatever is the current northern-hemisphere season. I live in the southern hemisphere and it's winter down here, and all these beaches and salads and picnics and cold drinks and ice-creams etc. leave me - well, cold.
@Urbanmammal - yeah, they're making me jealous and antsy, too. But don't worry, we'll get our revenge in a few months <insert evil chuckle>.
