Today is the deadline for entries, so it's your last chance to send us in 5 great photos of your colorful room. If you'd like to be the one joining Maxwell in NYC this Spring for a Design Shopping weekend, here's everything you need to know...

... this years Room for Color contest, here are a few things you'll want to know:

  • We are asking for just 5 great photos of a single beautiful room. If you have a wonderful, colorful room in your home (no matter what the size!) we'd like to see it.

  • The grand prize is a fabulous and fun design shopping weekend in NYC. The winner will stay at the Maritime Hotel, join Maxwell for breakfast and a day of design shopping and will have $1000 to spend on new goodies for their home.

  • The early bird catches the worm. The first 25 entries will receive a copy of Apartment Therapy Presents.

  • Photo quality counts! Editors will choose the best-looking entries to feature in the contest. Check out tips for taking good interior shots right here.

  • U.S. entries will be organized into divisions based on location. It's East vs. West vs. South vs. North in a battle for the most beautiful room in each division and then, finally, in the country! International entries are also welcome and will compete in their own division.
