Oh, I am so going through my extensive rock collection, boiling the ones that are the right size, drying & freezing them to use in cold drinks! What a great idea. Agates will be particularly gorgeous... And all those black, ocean tossed ones... Hmmmm..... Thanks, AT.
It's worth noting that chiller rocks don't actually work. They simply can't get cold enough to chill a drink to the same degree that ice can.
It's also worth noting that in many cocktails, the very cold water released by the ice actually adds to the flavour and texture of the drink, mellowing the harsh edge of spirits like vodka.
And finally, it's worth noting that only a philistine drinks whiskey with ice in it.
No ice in vodka in vodka, chill the bottle only. Спасибо большое:)
I can't wait for New Year's Eve! However, living in an apartment I'm on a budget (saving up for my first house!) and can't quite afford to spend $42 on a table runner. :( I like the idea of decorating though. I found this article that has a great list of how to have a New Year's Eve Party on a budget (has a lot of great Pinterest ideas in it!) http://www.fatwallet.com/blog/its-about-time-new-years-bash-on-a-budget/ Be careful not to get stuck in the Pinterest time suck though! :)
