Tonal beauty. After visiting ABC yesterday, we were sucked into Environment Furniture, because it is just so damn cool looking in there. Turns out that Aaron's already beat us to a review, so we thought we'd highlight their bed collection, which was the highlight for us...

All of these beds sport totally different shapes and design approaches using only sustainably harvested and reclaimed woods. Of particular note is the bedding that they use in the showroom and sell by Matteo. This stuff is luscious and comes in whites, off-whites and deep tonal colors sunk into either cotton, linen or silk.

The linens are beautiful.
Info on green mattresses would be a *great* addition to this post (hint, hint ;)
awe, damn you guys beat me! i've been laying out a post on them, as I'm friends with the creator. all of their products are really amazing!
love matteo, i have their greige linens on my bed, it was a great investment. i visited abc today and saw the reconfiguration of the bed linens floor, while i like the open floor plan i miss the old matteo shop. john derian also has a selection of matteo at their shop.
Love the look but no can't afford it. It's too bad there doesn't seem to be much, if any, affordable eco-furniture out there yet.
Eco friendly AND budget friendly almost never happens.
They are nice though.
Friends,
You really need to examine your understanding of what it means to be "eco-friendly" or "sustainable" before you throw a bunch of money/support at a company who's more of a greenwasher than a green builder.
