A couple of years ago we were really happy to see the launch of several recycled glass countertops such as IceStone and BottleStone, but now recycled glass countertops have become so common that it’s hard to tell them apart. So you can imagine our excitement when we found about a new countertop product made of recycled tubs, toilets and sinks…The EnviroMODE product was conceived after a successful launch of EnviroGLAS’ recycled glass surfaces and the urging of the City of Dallas to find a use for old toilets and tubs. The recycled porcelain is bound with epoxy resins and can also be mixed with recycled glass. The material is available as countertops or flooring, is fabricated as either slabs or rectangular tiles and can also be used as aggregate in traditional poured in place terrazzo flooring. EnviroMODE is heat, stain and scratch resistant, is easily maintained with neutral cleansers, are VOC-free and does not need to be sealed.
Available in hundreds of resin colors, we think combination of recycled porcelain and epoxy resins makes a really unique and bold surface.
