Envirosax Greengrocer Bags

You know we're fans of Envirosax bags and their version for kids, but we must admit that we find many of the bag patterns a bit, well, busy. And our husband protests that they're too froufy for him to use. So hallelujah - they've released these new bags, the Greengrocer line, in solid colors.

Each Greengrocer bag is $7.95 which seems well worth the price for saving more plastic bags from landfills.

these look great. do you think they would fit over the shoulder as a tote? if not, any ideas out there of reusable totes (not canvas, thanks!)

I'm in the market for some reusable grocery bags, but our family uses at least 5 or 6 bags each weekly grocery trip. Is there a huge benefit to buying Envirosax's $8 bags over Whole Foods' $1 reusable bags?

and lastly the reason i'm obsessed with mine. They fold up and snap into a tiny package only half as big as my fist.

I carry one in my handbag at all times it's already saved me hundreds of plastic bags. Its compactness allows me to carry and use it easily and this makes it worth more to me as the $1 style was getting forgotten at home all the time.

We sell them in our shop and the photos above are a little washed out - the colors are much brighter, especially the light green and light pink.

I have a few older bags that I can slip on my shoulder... which is great for trekking up three flights.

can anyone tell me about these... can you slip your arm through or are the handles similar to a regular grocery bag?
