During my recent visit, she explained that she just painted the accent walls green, but is still unsure of the color choice. Her entire bedroom/living space is filled of thrift store, vintage antiques and a few subtle Ikea pieces. She keeps a full home of photography gear, collectables and a cool collage of photos over her desk, but the vaulted ceilings and windows lend to a nice airy feeling, helping this apartment to feel more like a loft, and less like a shoe box.

That looks like the gold-trimmed princess furniture I had when I was a little girl. Nostalgia attack!
@ LolaDanger, I was just about to write the same thing! ;-)
And I love the wall color.
@Elizabeth II, it makes me wish I'd held onto mine. Did you have the canopy bed, too?
I love it, it looks like a peacock!
I had that furniture too... still do! But I painted mine chocolate and glazed it with black--which weirdly makes it look almost like a wood finish--and spray painted the hardware silver. Love it!
I really like the green of the walls. I would paint the other walls as well, but maybe that would be too dark.
I very much like your gallery wall and the moody jewel colors at the bedroom end. Thanks for sharing your space!
Great style, but house tours should really include a better idea of the entire apartment. A floor plan would be great. Several pictures of a few small vignettes does not do it.
Absolutely lovely.
I !love! that green color with the purple. It is very moody and majestic!
I agree with LauraE that I'm not certain how to put all the spaces in the pics in context with each other. A better idea of the layout and how these spaces interact would be swell.
What's that green paint color and who made it? It's a really good green.
I am a minimalist and all light/natural kind of person and I do adore this room.
It is something, to put together a room with colour and various objects and attract a minimalist.
Lovely Colours.
Lovely bed.
Paint color please?
yes...I agree about the context; being given more info on the apt layout would help...
I also agree about the colors: they are SO beautiful!!! I also love how the mixture of furniture, textures, and the placement of pieces say "minimalist" without trying to "be" minimalist!! Good job!!
yes, please share the paint color!
that wall color is fantastic. i would love to see a white comforter on that bed. it would really make the wall go boing!!!
lurve!
I LOVE the paint color on the walls! So inviting!!
I love the lush green and the deep purple together xxx

The green in the bedroom is Martha Stewart in Bonsai. The green over the dining table is Martha Stewart in Lilypad. It is hard to tell in the photo but the one over the table is more of yellow based green and is lighter.
Love these colors together. Great choice.
