1. Outrunning Hurricane Gustave.
2. My mother is coming to visit from St. Louis and we will get back massages at Earthsavers Spa, haircuts, pedicures, and manicures from a salon, catch up over a cup of coffee, shop for apartment decorations, and eat some of her homemade spaghetti.
I'm hoping that first option is skippable.
I am taking Thursday and Friday off work as well to make it a nice 5-day weekend. I'm actually in the process of moving out of my apartment and into my boyfriend's house so I should be pretty busy. Besides finishing up moving a few last things, I have plenty to organize/paint/decorate at the new place.
going to lots of rock shows and a picnic, relaxing in my new hammock, maybe hanging my new saucer pendant. and watching season 5 of the wire on netflix and eating popcorn and popsicles. i cant wait!
I'm hoping to escape the stressful anxiety of apartment hunting!!!
I should be finding out about the apartment I'm determined to get before the end of the week. Hopefully I'll get it and won't have to worry about apartment hunting anymore! :)
going to Santa Barbara! kayaking, hiking, boogie boarding
The CAPE!! One last hurrah before fall. 5 days, renting a house on the water with college friends, and lots of kids (part of a friends' wedding there Sunday!). Should be a BLAST!!
I'll be in visiting my "new" family in Indiana over the long weekend when they host a reception for me and my husband (even though the wedding was 8 months ago).
Thanks to your recommendation we are also going to head up to Michigan City to recapture the awesome picture you had up of the area.
Stay. 4-day weekend.
A brave trip to IKEA Friday morning. First thing, hopefully it will be peaceful.
I am off to Burning Man.. hurrayyyyyyyyyy
Camping 80degrees weather of Sunset State Beach.
And what is BURNING MAN?
It's kind of hard to lament the disappearance of summer when we still have at least 2, possibly 3 very warm months ahead in So Cal.
Moving to Chicago!
Going to Disneyland. I haven't been since I was 8; the boy hasn't been for 5 years. What better than a birthday at Disney and spending time with my baby niece!
Sister's house--gonna work on her resume and play with her kitties.

We're staying home -- organizing, decluttering, cleaning up. Satellite repair guy coming Friday morning, so my boyfriend will be MUCH easier to deal with. He's the most TV-dependent person I've ever known.
kayaking on lake cassadaga!
We're making the three hour trip from our house to Brussels! Chocolate and waffles!
This weekend is all about catch-up - catch up on school work, on freelance work, and on movies. The third part is the one I'm most looking forward to :)
We're staying home and playing...Purge-Atory!

4. Realize youâve had TOO MANY caffeinated beverages and are about to crawl out of your skin.
5. Haul box to the trunk.
5. Drive it to the charity place.
I just love this game, it makes everyone irritable. Sometimes, hotdogs are served.
Going to the North Fork Vineyards....sooooo excited!!!!
LSAT studying...maybe seeing Mamma Mia! again to see if it tempts me to run off to Greece and dance to ABBA instead of being lawyer...
Hiking up to the Hollywood Sign
Am I the only one that will be working? :( I'm very sad about it.
