Name: Estela (6)
Location: Levittown, NY
Color Inspiration: Shades of yellow.

Tip for Using Color: Needless to say, I don't know how to choose color. But somehow I knew I wanted to add yellow in Estela's room. When I saw the Apple Papple poster and the FermLiving Dotty wallpaper I fell in love with them, and started thinking of ways to incorporate both to her room that was pink and red. Since her room has only one window, using yellow and white seemed to be the perfect choice. The rest came naturally as I started adding and mixing and playing with colors and reusing items that were already there. Although I haven't started with the paint (white walls) yet, I was able to finish the headboard, wallpapering the wardrobe doors and making the fabric hoops. I am glad with the results so far. There's only so much you can do with a very active 2yo around...

Colors Used: Yellow, orange, brown, pink, green (err... should I say a rainbow?)

Thanks for your colorful entry Isabella and good luck!
