Always on the lookout for bedside lamps, the Tovier Table Lamp is one that would fit nicely into a calm, mod bedroom. Designed by Dikas of Spain, this new table lamp is made of one piece of bent steel gently holding a tall rectangle of milky white glass. Available from Estiluz, the Spanish company that's getting a bit hipper each season. (Via Metropolis)

How much is this and where can it be purchased?
Go to the Estiluz website and click on the US sales subsidiaries.
Call up the NJ number or email the contact on the blauet website that they link to and ask about availability and price.
Then when you find out, come back here and give us all the details ;)
It seems you have to jump thru so many hoops to get any pertinent information of the great finds on AT that I don't even bother looking anymore. JP's directions above are just about what one has to go thru all the time. Most of the time it's not worth the effort.
I bought several Estiluz light fixtures two years ago at Lee's Studio (West 57th Street NYC). They were very helpful (my salesperson was James) and I'm really happy with the Estiluz quality and design.
Estiluz makes really great stainless products. The color and graining are always nice. Two thumbs up.
Great lamp-perfect for a mod bedroom!
Agreed: hoop-jumping for prices and availability? Please. In some quarters, it's 2006.
I mean the year and not the theoretical price of the lamp. ;-)
Point is that this is adcance notice of a new product. You can't buy it yet but isn't it better to know about stuff ahead of time just in case you were going to buy something else and preferred this new one?
Lighting By Gregory, 158 Bowery near Broome Street carries a full line of Estiluz fixtures in their showroom. Most have to be ordered which takes about 4-5 days. Prices are about as good as they get.
You can get it at http://www.lightology.com for $310, shipping included.
Damn that's expensive (to me). I was looking at spending about $300 for two bedside table lamps, not $600 :(
Anybody have any recommendations for similar yet slightly more inexpensive fixtures?
Target has some cool-looking color changing cube lights on their web page.

Check out designs by SF based Pablo Pardo. The "Elise" table lamp is a great option and priced well - you could probably get two for around $200.
They are on sale here:

These lamps are awesome. They are really breathtaking and unique.
