I am completely head over heels in love with Michael Arras' Circles Coffee Table. He's put a sophisticated and original twist on a Danish Modern classic, a furniture equation that I constantly crave for my own home…
…The price for this handmade custom piece starts at just $399 and has got me wondering: is it too early to start my Christmas list?

Hawt!
It's beautiful, but I'll save my $399 :)
$399 for a handmade table is pretty darn reasonable. (That's for a small one - a standard(ish) 36" one is $599. Still dirt cheap for something handmade, and comparable to a nice wooden Crate and Barrel coffee table, etc.)
Anyway, check out his site - they're gorgeous and come in different stains and colors! If I didn't already have a coffee table I love, I'd buy one for sure.
These are beautiful. And I think the prices are very reasonable!
Love them, but I'd need to have a glass top cut to fit, since otherwise I just know the spaces (cracks) between the shapes would end up causing me to spill things. (Of course, ideally you'd use this as sculpture, not fucntionally as a surface, but I don't have space for non-functional furniture.)
i can see my daughter sticking her crayons in between those circles lol
Color plus natural wood grain? Cool.
It's being carried over from my 2009 Christmas list . . . hint . . .
