To us, there's a certain quality to garland that instantly transforms a space. Similar to a strand of glittering lights, garland conveys a party vibe that can't be beat.

Garland can be used in place of flowers when there isn't extra money in the budget for a fresh bouquet. Recently, we spotted this crafty Dotty Garland on Little Glowing Light's Etsy site. Shades of pink and orange, the strands of garland look whimsical and classic on a white wall. Catherine also makes her own version of the more traditional garland and is in the process of making tea towels with a similar garland design for her Etsy store.
