Monday, we posted about how a pop of color (fuchsia, in this case) added to a frame within a grouping adds a measure of interest and drama. Serendipitously, we later stumbled across these wonderful and timely painted filigree frames...
At TotallyJuliaRAd's Etsy shop, she features a selection of ornate frames painted in bold kelly greens, pale blues and purples. We love the idea of adding one of these to our wall, and are still smitten with the idea of such striking colors.

What's more, TotallyJuliaRAd adds illustrations from children's books creating these great, whimsical pieces we'd love to add to our wall.

Hah! I just did this with a filagree mirror I found at a garage sale..I had been seeing them in flat black, or white for a while, and instead I picked a seafoamy green. I LOVE mine, and everyone comments on it when they come to my place.
An entire wall of my living room is covered in these frames- both black and bright colors! I love them a lot!
Cuteasabutton, I want to see pictures!
