How is this made? I have both of the Nomadic Furniture books from the 70's, the first of which lists this fixture make with styrofoam cups. In that version, glue is applied to the sides and the cups sit closer together. This version seems to be affixed to some kind of inner sphere allowing the cups to sit a bit further apart from each other.
Am I looking too hard or just missing something because I should be in bed instead of looking at a project that is on my list of to-dos?
Kudos to anyone who actually finds that many dirty cups, washes them, and makes this. The people I know would just buy a humungo package of cups, making this just another piece of cheap junk.
