We're having a barbecue at a public park by the lake this weekend, and a little bonfire action is definitely going to be part of it. This portable fire pit is a bit more rockin' than we had in mind, but it's certainly awesome.
The artist offers the option of outfitting the fire pit for gas, and points out that the flames make good rests for s'mores or sausages on sticks.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Wasn't this just posted yesterday?
Ive seen one of these before! I'm not really a flame kind of person but it looks super cool when it's dark outside because the light from the fire casts flame shaped shadows on the ground.
this is wicked!
I love this artistic one, but we got ours on the cheap from the steel yard near us. They had two sizes, ours is the larger of the two sizes, and I think they are rusted propane tank end caps.

Hot Rod Flames aren't my thing, but if anything called for them to be used, this does.
fire aside, i would hate to trip anywhere near that.
amazing!!!! dyi, salvaged, recycled and cool, what more can you ask for... y can just imagine a round of roaring bikes at night. really sorry for the sexist remark, but it has testosterone written all over it!!!
i am a girl and i would love that!!!!! it is too expensive for me though. if it was like 200 cheaper and not so much to ship i would buy it in a hearbeat. still, i know artists work really hard and i like to support that.
i love you, fire pit! if i didn't live in an apartment, it could really work out for us. don't ever change.

I would never put this outside as a fire pit. It's awesome looking, but it looks far to dangerous to be a fire pit. the steel would be heated to much if you had to cut it off in a hurry. seems like an awful fire hazard without the open flame.
I think it's beautiful.
