Just when we thought we had exhausted every imaginable possibility for chalkboard paint, we came across this idea from Vancouver, B.C. based Etsy seller blissinateacup.

The clipboard "slates" make for a handy variation on the hangable clipboard organizing system we're often fond of. They offer four versions, each with different permanent-paint headers or designs.

We think this is a handy idea, especially when combined with the clip function on the clipboard itself — we often have little scraps, like receipts, that accompany our to-do list items. We do wonder, however, if whatever we clipped there would get all chalky. Still, a neat idea.

interesting, but where do you place the chalk after you are done writing?
I guess depending on the 'paper' holder, you could possibly place it in there.
Thanks for featuring our writing slates! As for the questions, we don't find that our stuff gets all chalky and I think this is mainly because I often clean the slate with a slightly damp cloth instead of a duster. As for a space to keep the chalk, this is something we're working on but for now we've tied ours to a piece of string that's attached to the clip, we just hook it over the corner of the board when we don't want it hanging down the front.
Thanks again!
