Love the drawer/trays. Excellent construction using dovetails. zenblocks (http://zenblocks.etsy.com) also make good host(ess) gifts.
The miniature houses are wonderful. I have a couple of sets on a bookshelf above my computer. Love.
$28 for two itsy bitsy wood remnants painted white with black squares? This should be on regretsy's compare and save.
I absolutely love that doormat, but the seller (who's in Canada) charges US$77 for the doormat itself, and then US$80 for *shipping costs* to Europe. I really wish buying online were less frustrating for us in the old continent.
Don't forget you don't need to go online to get items like these. Many artists and arts organizations arrange exhibitions and sales around this time of year to try to capture some of the Christmas shopping market. So check out your local paper and see what's coming up. My weavers' guild is having a sale in just a few weeks which will have handwoven rugs and linens and other homegoods.
Hey! thanks for the mention on my mat on such a great website. To C.G I am sorry about the shipping costs. I would love to sell more to the UK, especially as this is my homeland :( Last time I went to visit I took $120 feet of rope in my suitcase so I could make one for my sister! LOL! Imagine being caught at customs...what on earth would I have told them?
