Name: Evan (3) & Dallas (2)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Color Inspiration: From watching movies Finding Nemo, Shark Tales, and The Reef to chatting about sand and surf in the days leading up to their first beach vacation, the kids have been infatuated with all things ocean related. I stumbled upon an adorable set of Sea and Me sheets and pillow covers at Target, marked down to practically nothing, I knew they were the perfect starting point for this room design.
Tip for Using Color: When decorating on a tight budget, paint gives the most impact for your decorating dollar. Painting stripes is an added bonus because it eliminates the need for wall decor, but at the same time gives the space interest. Furthermore, horizontal stripes makes a space appear wider, more expansive.
Colors Used: The three colors used were Ebbtide SW6493, Jetstream SW6492 , and Marquis Orange 6650 all by Sherwin Williams.
Thanks for your colorful entry Erika and good luck!

Love it!
I love how simple and calm this room is!
I love this one -- I bought those, too, ($4??) and made a shower curtain from the flat sheet. This room is so lovely!
Where did you get your peg rack? I've been looking for that exact one for awhile and can't find where to purchase it! Thanks. Plus, the room is beautiful!
Thanks everyone for the compliments on the room! I appreciate it!
@AnneK1, I purchased the peg rack from IKEA!
I really love this. You did a great job with the stripes. Even with stripes all over it does not seem to busy.
Erica, Thanks for the information about the peg rack!
Great looking room! I am decorating my kids room with orange too. Could you tell me where you got the orange rug?
very cute boys room.
Love the orange and white pillow - source please?
