Eva's Play-filled "Corners"

My Playroom

Name: Eva (2)
Location: Brisbane, Australia

As much as I would love to have a house big enough for my daughter to have her own playroom, it's just not viable in our townhouse. Instead our living room has become a shared space -- now filled with a mini-kitchen and a teepee! So, when I say that this is "Eva's Playroom", I really mean her designated corners.

Many of these items were collected over time or given as gifts including her teepee, which has to be one of her favourite toys. Not only does she love to read in it, but play hide-and-go-seek as she carefully closes each velcro strap before ripping it open again to yell "boo"!

Along with Eva's reading corner, we created a mini-kitchen area for imaginary play and crafting. Complete with the IKEA toy kitchen, table and chair set, various fruit and veggie sets and a growing collection of play foods, the final touch to Eva's kitchen was to frame and hang her own artwork.

Source List:
Teepee: An Angel at my Table
Table and Chair Set: Svan
Mini-Kitchen: IKEA
Easel: IKEA
Alphabet Wall Decals: Love Mae
